* Eliminate special case nvpr batch handlingGravatar cdalton2016-05-12
| | | | | | | | | | Removes drawPathBatch methods from GrDrawTarget and GrDrawContext, and integrates nvpr batches in with all the other batches. BUG=skia: GOLD_TRYBOT_URL= https://gold.skia.org/search2?unt=true&query=source_type%3Dgm&master=false&issue=1966763002 Review-Url: https://codereview.chromium.org/1966763002
* Separate user and raw stencil settingsGravatar cdalton2016-05-11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Adds a new GrUserStencilSettings class that describes in abstract terms how a draw will use the stencil (e.g. kAlwaysIfInClip, kSetClipBit, etc.). GrPipelineBuilder now only defines the GrUserStencilSettings. When the GrPipeline is finalized, the user stencil settings are then translated into concrete GrStencilSettings. At this point, GrClipMaskManager only needs to tell the GrAppliedClip whether or not there is a stencil clip. It does not need to modify stencil settings and GrPipelineBuilder does not need AutoRestoreStencil. This is one step of the stencil overhaul. In the future it will also allow us to clean up the special case handling for nvpr and the stateful fClipMode member of GrClipMaskManager. * Simplify path allocation, clean up resources correctlyGravatar kkinnunen2016-01-13
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Simplify path id allocation in NVPR backend. Instead of using an AVL tree of path id ranges for the first 65535 ids, use just a simple stategy of overallocation and "bump index". Fixes the bug where previously overallocated ids were not deleted. The advantage is that the implementation is simple and all allocations go through overallocation, not just the first 65535 of the 1-range allocations. Removes the logic where paths were cleared with setting path data to null instead of deleting the whole path. Now deleted paths are just deleted normally. These operations should have equivalent performance on command buffer. Deleting the path should enable the driver to do more maintainance. Removes the GLNameAllocator, as it was only used for paths. In order for it to be used for other IDs, it probably would need to be re-written to support cleanup and arbitrary ranges. Also, the interface would probably need to be changed to not requiring the block to be allocated before it could be managed by the structure. * Fix mixed samples stencil clipGravatar cdalton2015-11-09
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fixes rendering bugs and nondeterminism in gm. Before, mixed samples stencil clip would try to infer whether the draw wanted co-centered sample locations from within GrGLGpu, which caused various errors. This change reworks it so the draw itself can request the co-centered sample locations when it knows it will need them. Also reduces framebuffer binds by moving the code that enables GL_FRAMEBUFFER_PROGRAMMABLE_SAMPLE_LOCATIONS into flushRenderTarget. Review URL: https://codereview.chromium.org/1431593006

Remove backwards-compatibility code that was left behind. Remove some NVPR API function typedefs that were left from initial commits. Remove PathCoords function pointer from GrGLInterface, it has never been called and causes problems in the future, since it will not be implemented in the Chromium pseudo extension. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | GrGpu, GrGLGpu, GrPathRendering, GrGLPathRendering all duplicated each others' path rendering related member functions. Make GrPathRending the logical extension of GrGpu by removing the methods from GrGpu. Similarly to the GL variants. Changes includes and forward declarations due to removing GrDrawTarget.h include from GrGpu.h. This was necessary due to GrDrawTarget.h including GrPathRendering.h, and now GrPathRendering.h includes GrGpu.h. (Also GrGpu.h does not need GrDrawTarget.h anymore). * Avoid creating GrGLPath to the resource cache when creating GrGLPathRangesGravatar kkinnunen2015-05-24
| | | | | | | | | | | Do not create a GrGLPath when loading glyphs with the driver and creating GrGLPathRange based on those. The path would be inserted to the GPU resource cache and then immediately be released. Instead, just init the first path object of the path range as the template. * Improve caching of dashed paths in GrStencilAndCoverPathRendererGravatar kkinnunen2015-05-18
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Improve caching of dashed paths in GrStencilAndCoverPathRenderer. Look up the (NVPR specific) GrGLPath based on GrStrokeInfo and the original path. Use unique keys for all GrPaths. Dash the path with Skia dash stroker and use that path geometry for NVPR path. NVPR internal dashing stroke is not used, because the dashing implementation of NVPR does not match Skia implementation. Review URL: https://codereview.chromium.org/1116123003

* Make SkStream *not* ref counted.Gravatar scroggo2015-01-21
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | SkStream is a stateful object, so it does not make sense for it to have multiple owners. Make SkStream inherit directly from SkNoncopyable. Update methods which previously called SkStream::ref() (e.g. SkImageDecoder::buildTileIndex() and SkFrontBufferedStream::Create(), which required the existing owners to call SkStream::unref()) to take ownership of their SkStream parameters and delete when done (including on failure). Switch all SkAutoTUnref<SkStream>s to SkAutoTDelete<SkStream>s. In some cases this means heap allocating streams that were previously stack allocated. Respect ownership rules of SkTypeface::CreateFromStream() and SkImageDecoder::buildTileIndex(). Update the comments for exceptional methods which do not affect the ownership of their SkStream parameters (e.g. SkPicture::CreateFromStream() and SkTypeface::Deserialize()) to be explicit about ownership. Remove test_stream_life, which tested that buildTileIndex() behaved correctly when SkStream was a ref counted object. The test does not make sense now that it is not. In SkPDFStream, remove the SkMemoryStream member. Instead of using it, create a new SkMemoryStream to pass to fDataStream (which is now an SkAutoTDelete). Make other pdf rasterizers behave like SkPDFDocumentToBitmap. SkPDFDocumentToBitmap delete the SkStream, so do the same in the following pdf rasterizers: SkPopplerRasterizePDF SkNativeRasterizePDF SkNoRasterizePDF Requires a change to Android, which currently treats SkStreams as ref counted objects. Refactors GrPathRange to accept a PathGenerator class that it uses to lazily initialize its paths. The client code is no longer expected to initialize the paths in a GrPathRange; instead it must provide a PathGenerator* instance to createPathRange(). Adds a new createGlyphs() method to GrPathRendering that creates a range of glyph paths, indexed by glyph id. GrPathRendering implements createGlyphs() with a PathGenerator that loads glyph paths using the skia frameworks. GrGLPathRendering uses glMemoryGlyphIndexArrayNV() instead, when possible, to load the glyph paths. Removes all GlyphPathRange logic from GrStencilAndCoverTextContext. It instead uses createGlyphs().
