| | | | | | | | | With the move from SkData::NewXXX to SkData::MakeXXX most SkAutoTUnref<SkData> were changed to sk_sp<SkData>. However, there are still a few SkAutoTUnref<SkData> around, so clean them up. Review-Url: https://codereview.chromium.org/2212493002

* Add destination color space to AsFPArgs. Eliminates last XFORMTODO.Gravatar brianosman2016-07-25
| | | | | | | | | | | | This is going to be needed in many more places as I finish connecting the dots. Even better - I'd like to switch to a world where SkColorSpace != nullptr is the only signal we use for gamma-correct rendering, so I can eliminate SkSourceGammaTreatment and SkSurfaceProps::isGammaCorrect. * Cleanup of code that converts from GPU-backed resources to SkImageInfoGravatar brianosman2016-07-22
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Functions like GrMakeInfoFromTexture encouraged incorrect code to be written. Similarly, the ability to construct an info from any GrSurface was never going to be correct. Luckily, the only client of that had all of the correct parameters much higher on the stack (and dictated or replaced most of the properties of the returned info anyway). With this, I can finally remove the color space as an output of the pixel config -> color type conversion, which was never going to be correct. * Never allow dither for non-legacy (sRGB or F16) targets.Gravatar brianosman2016-07-13
| | | | | | | | | | | With sRGB, the noise from dithering is (obviously) non-linear, and highly objectionable for very dark values. With F16, it's completely unnecessary. BUG=skia: GOLD_TRYBOT_URL= https://gold.skia.org/search?issue=2113793002 Review-Url: https://codereview.chromium.org/2113793002
* GrColor4f is yet another 4f color type, unfortunately.Gravatar brianosman2016-06-24
| | | | | | | | | | | | - Sk4f would be my choice, but it's not allowed in include/ - SkColor4f and SkPM4f are specified to be unpremultiplied/premultiplied, whereas GrColor (and GrColor4f) are either, depending on context. This adds 12 bytes to GrPaint. Not sure if we want to pay that price. The precision loss for a single value (vs. in a gradient, etc...) may not justify changing the storage type here. Easy enough to back that part out, while still keeping the 4f intermediate type for the helper math that it adds, and for storage and parameter passing in other locations. Also added SkSurfaceProps to SkSpecialImage, so that Image -> Surface conversion can preserve the desired behavior during filtering. Many small changes, including a bunch of comments about places where we may be losing information right now. My approach was to ensure that if anything fails, it will always fall back to "legacy" mode - gamma-correctness is opt-in, so I'll just have to feed things through as missing cases are exposed. * sRGB support in Ganesh. Several pieces:Gravatar brianosman2016-03-21
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | sRGB support now also requires GL_EXT_texture_sRGB_decode, which allows us to disable sRGB -> Linear conversion when reading textures. This gives us an easy way to support "legacy" L32 mode. We disable decoding based on the pixel config of the render target. Textures can override that behavior (specifically for format-conversion draws where we want that behavior). Added sBGRA pixel config, which is not-really-a-format. It's just sRGBA internally, and the external format is BGR order, so TexImage calls will swizzle correctly. This lets us interact with sRGB raster surfaces on BGR platforms. Devices without sRGB support behave like they always have: conversion from color type and profile type ignores sRGB and always returns linear pixel configs. * Revert of respect sRGB when converting from sk to gr configs (patchset #1 ↵Gravatar brianosman2016-03-03
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | id:1 of https://codereview.chromium.org/1756913003/ ) Reason for revert: Two major regressions from this change: - Mac images may end up too bright, if they're correctly tagged as sRGB. That's a sub-set of a much larger issue where L32 mode needs to suppress sRGB -> Linear conversion of pretty much everything. - Various low-end GPUs (Mali400 Android, iPad4) don't render in sRGB at all, causing tests to produce no output at all.
