From 9c2d0714fe6bf7ed5d12b8fdde656a22915733ff Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Carl Worth Date: Tue, 17 Nov 2009 12:50:46 -0800 Subject: Makefile: Prefer directories as the target for install commands. I was confusing myself with some rules installing to directories and some installing to files. We do still install to a filename when simultaneously renaming, (such as notmuch-completion.bash to notmuch). --- Makefile.local | 4 ++-- 1 file changed, 2 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'Makefile.local') diff --git a/Makefile.local b/Makefile.local index 2c457208..6573f634 100644 --- a/Makefile.local +++ b/Makefile.local @@ -29,8 +29,8 @@ install: all notmuch.1.gz do \ install -C -d $$d ; \ done ; - install -C notmuch $(DESTDIR)/usr/bin/notmuch - install -C notmuch.1.gz $(DESTDIR)/usr/share/man/man1 + install -C notmuch $(DESTDIR)/usr/bin/ + install -C notmuch.1.gz $(DESTDIR)/usr/share/man/man1/ install -C notmuch-completion.bash \ $(DESTDIR)/etc/bash_completion.d/notmuch -- cgit v1.2.3
