Start of a uniform treatment of compare, eqb, leb, ltb:
- We now ensure that they are provided by N,Z,BigZ,BigN,Nat and Pos
- Some generic properties are derived in OrdersFacts.BoolOrderFacts
In BinPos, more work about sub_mask with nice implications
on compare (e.g. simplier proof of lt_trans).
In BinNat/BinPos, for uniformity, compare_antisym is now
(y ?= x) = CompOpp (x ?=y) instead of the symmetrical result.
In BigN / BigZ, eq_bool is now eqb
In BinIntDef, gtb and geb are kept for the moment, but
a comment advise to rather use ltb and leb. Z.div now uses
Z.ltb and Z.leb.

All the functions about Z is now in a separated file BinIntDef,
which is Included in BinInt.Z. This BinInt.Z directly
implements ZAxiomsSig, and instantiates derived properties ZProp.
Note that we refer to Z instead of t inside BinInt.Z,
otherwise ring breaks later on @eq Z.t

CompareSpec expects 3 propositions Peq Plt Pgt instead of 2 relations
eq lt and 2 points x y. For the moment, we still always use (Peq=eq x y),
(Plt=lt x y) (Pgt=lt y x), but this may not be always the case,
especially for Pgt. The former CompSpec is now defined in term of
CompareSpec. Compatibility is preserved (except maybe a rare unfold
or red to break the CompSpec definition).
Typically, CompareSpec looks nicer when we have infix notations, e.g.
forall x y, CompareSpec (x=y) (x<y) (y<x) (x?=x)
while CompSpec is shorter when we directly refer to predicates:
forall x y, CompSpec eq lt x y (compare x y)

conversion when checking types of instanciations while having
restricted delta reduction for unification itself. This
makes auto/eauto... backward compatible.
- Change semantics of [Instance foo : C a.] to _not_ search
for an instance of [C a] automatically and potentially slow
down interaction, except for trivial classes with no fields.
Use [C a := _.] or [C a := {}] to search for an instance of
the class or for every field.
- Correct treatment of transparency information for classes
declared in sections.

To avoid names¬ations clashs with list, Vector shouldn't be
"Import"ed but one can "Import Vector.VectorNotations." to have
notations.
SetoidVector at least remains to do.

Initial plan was only to add shiftl/shiftr/land/... to N and
other number type, this is only partly done, but this work has
diverged into a big reorganisation and improvement session
of PArith,NArith,ZArith.
Bool/Bool: add lemmas orb_diag (a||a = a) and andb_diag (a&&a = a)
PArith/BinPos:
- added a power function Ppow
- iterator iter_pos moved from Zmisc to here + some lemmas
- added Psize_pos, which is 1+log2, used to define Nlog2/Zlog2
- more lemmas on Pcompare and succ/+/* and order, allow
to simplify a lot some old proofs elsewhere.
- new/revised results on Pminus (including some direct proof of
stuff from Pnat)
PArith/Pnat:
- more direct proofs (limit the need of stuff about Pmult_nat).
- provide nicer names for some lemmas (eg. Pplus_plus instead of
nat_of_P_plus_morphism), compatibility notations provided.
- kill some too-specific lemmas unused in stdlib + contribs
NArith/BinNat:
- N_of_nat, nat_of_N moved from Nnat to here.
- a lemma relating Npred and Nminus
- revised definitions and specification proofs of Npow and Nlog2
NArith/Nnat:
- shorter proofs.
- stuff about Z_of_N is moved to Znat. This way, NArith is
entirely independent from ZArith.
NArith/Ndigits:
- added bitwise operations Nand Nor Ndiff Nshiftl Nshiftr
- revised proofs about Nxor, still using functional bit stream
- use the same approach to prove properties of Nand Nor Ndiff
ZArith/BinInt: huge simplification of Zplus_assoc + cosmetic stuff
ZArith/Zcompare: nicer proofs of ugly things like Zcompare_Zplus_compat
ZArith/Znat: some nicer proofs and names, received stuff about Z_of_N
ZArith/Zmisc: almost empty new, only contain stuff about badly-named
iter. Should be reformed more someday.
ZArith/Zlog_def: Zlog2 is now based on Psize_pos, this factorizes
proofs and avoid slowdown due to adding 1 in Z instead of in positive
Zarith/Zpow_def: Zpower_opt is renamed more modestly Zpower_alt
as long as I dont't know why it's slower on powers of two.
Elsewhere: propagate new names + some nicer proofs
NB: Impact on compatibility is probably non-zero, but should be
really moderate. We'll see on contribs, but a few Require here
and there might be necessary.

- Simplification of functor names, e.g. ZFooProp instead of ZFooPropFunct
- The axiomatisations of the different fonctions are now in {N,Z}Axioms.v
apart for Z division (three separate flavours in there own files).
Content of {N,Z}AxiomsSig is extended, old version is {N,Z}AxiomsMiniSig.
- In NAxioms, the recursion field isn't that useful, since we axiomatize
other functions and not define them (apart in the toy NDefOps.v).
We leave recursion there, but in a separate NAxiomsFullSig.
- On Z, the pow function is specified to behave as Zpower : a^(-1)=0
- In BigN/BigZ, (power:t->N->t) is now pow_N, while pow is t->t->t
These pow could be more clever (we convert 2nd arg to N and use pow_N).
Default "^" is now (pow:t->t->t). BigN/BigZ ring is adapted accordingly
- In BigN, is_even is now even, its spec is changed to use Zeven_bool.
We add an odd. In BigZ, we add even and odd.
- In ZBinary (implem of ZAxioms by ZArith), we create an efficient Zpow
to implement pow. This Zpow should replace the current linear Zpower
someday.
- In NPeano (implem of NAxioms by Arith), we create pow, even, odd functions,
and we modify the div and mod functions for them to be linear, structural,
tail-recursive.

- Many of them were broken, some of them after Pierre B's rework
of mli for ocamldoc, but not only (many bad annotation, many files
with no svn property about Id, etc)
- Useless for those of us that work with git-svn (and a fortiori
in a forthcoming git-only setting)
- Even in svn, they seem to be of little interest
git-svn-id: svn+ssh://scm.gforge.inria.fr/svn/coq/trunk@12972 85f007b7-540e-0410-9357-904b9bb8a0f7

- ring/field: detection of constants for ring/field,
detection of power, potential use of euclidean division.
- for BigN and BigZ, x^n now takes a N as 2nd arg instead of a positive
- mention that we can use (r)omega thanks to (ugly) BigN.zify, BigZ.zify.
By the way, BigN.zify could still be improved (no insertion of positivity
hyps yet, unlike the original zify).
- debug of BigQ.qify (autorewrite was looping on spec_0).
- for BigQ, start of a generic functor of properties QProperties.
- BigQ now implements OrderedType, TotalOrder, and contains facts
about min and max.
git-svn-id: svn+ssh://scm.gforge.inria.fr/svn/coq/trunk@12681 85f007b7-540e-0410-9357-904b9bb8a0f7

We use the <+ operation to regroup all known facts about BigN
(resp BigZ, ...) in a unique module. This uses also the new ! feature
for controling inlining. By the way, we also make sure that these
new BigN and BigZ modules implements OrderedTypeFull and TotalOrder,
and also contains facts about min and max (cf. GenericMinMax).
Side effects:
- In NSig and ZSig, specification of compare and eq_bool is now
done with respect to Zcompare and Zeq_bool, as for other ops.
The order <= and < are also defined via Zle and Zlt, instead
of using compare. Min and max are axiomatized instead of being
macros.
- Some proofs rework in QMake
- QOrderedType and Qminmax were in fact not compiled by make world
Still todo: OrderedType + MinMax for BigQ, etc etc

Make setoid_rewrite-through-rewrite's selection of occurences more
robust: do not try unification with reduction if not needed.
This changes a few scripts that were using reduction in a far from
obvious way and could break more.

Now that backtracking is working correctly, we need to avoid a
non-termination issue introduced by the [RelCompFun] definition in
RelationPairs, by adding a [Measure] typeclass. It could be used to have
a uniform notation for measures/interpretations in Numbers and be but in
the interfaces too, only the mimimal change was implemented.
Fix syntax change in test-suite scripts.

- In fact, Bind Scope has no retrospective effect. Since we don't want
it inside functor, we use it late, and hence we are forced to use manual
"Arguments Scope" commands.
- Added syntax for power in BigN / BigZ / BigQ.
- Added syntax p#q in BigQ for representing fractions (constructor BigQ.Qq)
as in QArith. Display of a rational numeral is hence either an integer
(constructor BigQ.Qz) or something like 6756 # 8798.
- Fix of function BigQ.Qred that was not simplifing (67#1) into 67.
- More tests in test-suite/output/NumbersSyntax.v
A nice one not in the test-suite:
Time Eval vm_compute in BigQ.red ((2/3)^(-100000) * (2/3)^(100000)).
= 1
: bigQ
Finished transaction in 3. secs (3.284206u,0.004s)

on the way:
- Added a testsuite output file
- Try to avoid nasty unfolding (fix nfun ...) in type of I31.
Idealy we would need a "Eval compute in" for the type of a inductive
constructor
- Stop opening Scopes for BigQ, BigN, BigZ by default
The user should do some Open Scope.
TODO: there's a bug that prevent BigQ.opp to have arg in bigQ_scope
(and so on for other operations), even with some Bind Scope around.

- No more nesting of Module and Module Type, we rather use Include.
- Instead of in-name-qualification like NZeq, we use uniform
short names + modular qualification like N.eq when necessary.
- Many simplification of proofs, by some autorewrite for instance
- In NZOrder, we instantiate an "order" tactic.
- Some requirements in NZAxioms were superfluous: compatibility
of le, min and max could be derived from the rest.
- NMul removed, since it was containing only an ad-hoc result for
ZNatPairs, that we've inlined in the proof of mul_wd there.
- Zdomain removed (was already not compiled), idea of a module
with eq and eqb reused in DecidableType.BooleanEqualityType.
- ZBinDefs don't contain any definition now, migrate it to ZBinary.

Mostly results about Zgcd (commutativity, associativity, ...).
Slight improvement of ZMicromega.
Beware: some lemmas of Zdiv/ Znumtheory were asking for
too strict or useless hypothesis. Some minor glitches may occur.
By the way, some iff lemmas about negb in Bool.v
